Who will be exposed first? The answers will hopefully begin with a new episode of The Blacklist season 5 on Nov. Red wants his secret to stay just that– a secret while Tom wants to expose him and help Liz get her father out of her life for good. Does he tell Liz or find a way to force Tom to give up the whereabouts of the suitcase? Neither person wants to hurt Liz and both Tom and Red believe they are doing this for the greater good.
On the flipside of things, Red now knows Tom either has possession of the bones or knows who does. He wants to be sure before he brings this damaging news to her. If Red decides to spill the beans to Liz that Tom is indeed involved, how or what does he tell her? It’s clear he can’t be truthful, however, since the DNA test revealed that Red is Liz’s father, he’s been quite the open book with her.īut let’s think what Tom is doing is not really that bad, right? Maybe he didn’t kill Nick (knowing that would hurt Liz) but he’s keeping a secret that she will hate him for. Just when Liz thought she was getting a somewhat normal life, there are those forces of nature pulling her in two different directions again. It goes without saying that the relationship between he and Tom is not that one between a normal father and son-in-law. Maybe Red wasn’t sure but after that confirming phone call, Red has a tough choice to make. If that wasn’t enough, it looks as if Red may have told Liz that Tom could somehow be involved. But what we do know is that Tom is now facing a possible showdown with Raymond Reddington. The question was– who did it? Was it Tom, Red, Pete or an outside-of-the circle killer?īut here’s the kicker to the plot– we still don’t know even after “llyas Surkov”. Liz’s friend, Nick has been helping Tom uncover the identity of the bones with help from Pete but Tom gets nervous and the end result is Nick being murdered. Up until the final minutes of “The Endling,” the suitcase was sort of in Tom’s possession. Whoever they belong to, Raymond is doing a great deal to get them back. Whose bones are those? Many believe they belong to Elizabeth’s mother, Katarina Rostov while some think it could another person’s from Liz’s past. Kaplan laid out a plan that could destroy their newfound happy family. But, this is still the hearty of the show and with one last move, Mr. To be honest, it’s brought a comedic relief to an otherwise serious cast. The Red/Liz storyline in The Blacklist season 5 has been great with her finally accepting the truth.
